Description
This solicitation is for the repair of Speed Gear Assemblies (NSN: 3010-01-326-8931, 3010-01-326-8932). The contractor shall provide all necessary facilities, parts, materials, equipment, and services to inspect and, if necessary, restore the end item to a serviceable condition. The work may consist of one of two efforts: Test, Teardown, and Evaluation (TT&E) only, or TT&E and repair. For the TT&E effort, the contractor will perform visual, mechanical, and electrical testing to determine the condition of the end item. A report identifying all components requiring repair or replacement will be provided to the Procurement Contracting Officer (PCO)/Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO). If repair is approved, the asset must be returned in serviceable, like-new condition. For the repair effort, the contractor shall replace all failed parts and components. Each end item must be cleaned, configured, refinished, and tested to meet original specifications, ensuring it is returned in serviceable, like-new condition. Access to the technical data package (TDP) requires emailing Richard.maynard.5@us.af.mil with a current DD2345, JCP printout, and active CMMC Level 2 documentation. An active conditional or final CMMC Level 2 assessment is mandatory for award.
