Description
Auburn University is soliciting a qualified contractor to provide tree pruning, tree removal, stump grinding, debris hauling, and related tree-care services on an as-directed basis. Work includes specialized pruning, complete tree removal, stump grinding to at least 18 inches below grade, cleanup, hauling, turf protection, and repair of damage caused by operations. Contractors must follow ANSI A300 and ANSI Z133 standards and provide appropriate equipment, including dump trucks, loaders, turf-sensitive equipment, aerial lifts, climbing capability, and stump-grinding equipment. Bidders must be licensed general contractors in Alabama, provide an ISA Certified Arborist, submit an equipment inventory list, and meet specified response-time requirements, including one-hour response for emergency or storm-damage calls and on-site response within 12 hours. The resulting agreement is scheduled for October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, with four additional one-year renewal periods at the University's discretion. A completed and notarized disclosure statement is required, along with the completed pricing sheet and required portal responses.
