Description
The Alabama Department of Transportation is soliciting sealed bids for roadway improvements consisting of traffic-monitoring camera installations along I-85 from the Exit 50 interchange to the Exit 57 interchange in Auburn, covering approximately 7.050 miles. The project must be completed within 85 working days and performed in accordance with applicable federal highway requirements. Bidders must be prequalified contractors or their authorized representatives, and the complete original proposal furnished by the Alabama Department of Transportation must be submitted. Each bid must include a cashier’s check or bid bond equal to 5% of the bid, capped at $50,000. The bracket estimate is $517,747 to $632,802.
