Description
The City of Auburn is soliciting bids for routine landscape maintenance of approximately 18.5 acres of islands, medians, roundabouts, and selected streetscapes. Services include growing- and dormant-season mowing, edging, weed eating, blowing, pre- and post-emergent weed control, fertilization, mulch and pine-straw maintenance, traffic control, litter and debris removal, shrub and ornamental plant maintenance, bed-edge maintenance, and minor erosion repairs. Work must comply with applicable traffic-control, pesticide, environmental, and accessibility requirements. The solicitation also requests unit prices for authorized, non-routine work, including installation of city-furnished shrubs, trees, groundcover, and perennials; plant removal and disposal; and furnishing and installing pine straw and pine bark mulch. Unit-price work is not guaranteed and may be authorized by the City during the contract term, with additive-alternate compensation capped at $65,000 per contract term. The initial contract term runs from October 15, 2026, through September 30, 2027, with up to two additional one-year renewals at the City's discretion.
