Description
The City of Auburn is soliciting bids for preventative maintenance services for eight Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems located at various city facilities. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and servicing necessary to maintain system performance and function. Services include twice-yearly inspections of batteries, wiring, terminals, and overall operation; annual inspections for corrosion, damage, and deterioration; thermal diagnostics of batteries and connections; battery-bank load testing; complete operational testing coordinated with the City; and detailed service reports after each visit. Routine and emergency repairs may be authorized separately, with emergency preauthorized repairs capped at $1,000. The initial contract term is twelve months, with two additional one-year renewal options. The contractor must provide a progress schedule, coordinate any testing that could interrupt facility power, and demonstrate at least two years of satisfactory performance under two similar contracts, along with five references. Bids must use the provided forms and include the required bid security; performance and labor-and-materials bonds are required after award.
