Description
The City of Auburn is soliciting sealed bids for widening North Donahue Drive to a five-lane roadway. The project includes dual northbound and southbound lanes, a 10-foot multiuse path, a 5-foot sidewalk, a decorative mast-arm traffic signal, and potentially one or two additional signalized intersections through an allowance item. The estimated construction cost is $14,160,000 to $17,310,000, and completion is required within 360 consecutive calendar days after the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must submit the City's standard forms, a bid guarantee of at least 5% capped at $10,000, documentation of an Alabama contractor's license, E-Verify enrollment documentation, and the required insurance certificates. The successful contractor must provide labor, materials, and equipment and comply with applicable domestic-product, licensing, tax, and immigration requirements.
