Description
The City of Auburn is soliciting bids for all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, traffic control, debris removal, and related services required to remove 36 trees, grind six stumps, grind two existing stumps, and prune two trees at various city properties, including rights-of-way, parks, city facilities, a cemetery, and a recreation center. The work includes standard removals and pruning to be completed within 28 calendar days of notification, as well as complete removal of trees in pond or wet areas rather than felling them in place. The contractor must comply with applicable traffic-control requirements, ANSI Z133 safety requirements, and ANSI A300 pruning standards. Work generally must be performed between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., with advance notice requirements for work and for work in parks, playgrounds, cemeteries, and other greenspaces. Bidders must submit pricing on the City's furnished bid forms, and the successful contractor must provide required automobile liability, general liability, and workers' compensation insurance.
