Description
The City of Redmond is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from experienced engineering firms for comprehensive, as-needed transportation engineering services. The scope includes pavement preservation and management programs; ADA curb ramp design and replacement; pavement testing and design reports; project plans, specifications, and estimates; pavement and curb ramp inventories; GIS mapping and drafting; strategic planning; project scoping and estimating; transportation safety projects; right-of-way permit reviews and inspections; peer review; construction management and inspection; and related technical, graphic, and presentation support. Work will be authorized through individually negotiated task orders, with the consultant expected to respond to urgent requests and support multiple task orders concurrently. The City intends to select up to three consultants for an initial two-year agreement with three optional two-year renewals, for a potential maximum term of eight years. The maximum contract value is $2,000,000, with no guaranteed minimum work or expenditure. Responses are limited to 10 pages, excluding specified supplemental materials, and must address firm experience, public-agency references, key personnel, sample work, SBE participation, business-license commitment, and proposal-validity period. A voluntary SBE goal of 10% applies, and the selected firm must provide required insurance before performing services.
