Description
The project is a single-prime general contracting opportunity to construct a three-season, two-story restroom and shower house at Mary Jane Thurston State Park, including foundations, structural framing, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, fixtures, finishes, exterior improvements, utilities, site grading, drainage, paving, landscaping, erosion controls, and related site work. The bid documents include drawings, specifications, a bid manual, and electronic bidding requirements. Alternates are provided for a decorative pattern form liner and an outdoor drinking fountain with bottle filler and pet drinking bowl; the base bid includes a smooth wall finish and no drinking fountain work. The general contract estimate is $1,721,000, with additional estimated alternates of $26,600 for the pattern form liner and $3,500 for the site drinking fountain. The project is subject to prevailing-wage requirements, domestic-steel requirements, equal-employment requirements, and a 5 percent EDGE participation goal. Bidders must submit an electronic bid, bid guaranty, required electronic bid-form information, and applicable qualifications and EDGE documentation. The contract time is 179 consecutive days from the Notice to Proceed.
