Description
Lancaster County, through its Parks and Recreation Department, is seeking a contractor to provide amusement rides for four county-sponsored public events in December 2026, March 2027, and July 2027. The scope includes furnishing rides and all related equipment, transportation, delivery, setup, installation, operation, supervision, trained operators, generators, fuel, maintenance, inspections, permits, dismantling, and removal. The County may add, remove, modify, or substitute attractions and may make multiple or partial awards. Proposers may offer comparable or superior attractions, including carousels, roller coasters, swings, Ferris wheels, pirate ships, fun houses, and other similar rides. Contractors must comply with South Carolina amusement-ride safety laws, maintain required permits and inspections, provide event-specific operational and safety documentation, and staff each operating ride with a trained attendant. Proposals are evaluated on experience and qualifications, safety and regulatory compliance, proposed ride package and quality, event operations and service plan, and price.
