Description
The City of Rock Hill is soliciting a contractor to repair and rehabilitate four city-owned parking decks: Black Street, Fountain Park, Knowledge Park Deck A, and Knowledge Park Deck B. Work includes shallow and deep concrete spall and delamination repairs, exposed-reinforcement repairs, concrete crack routing and sealing, double-tee flange connection repairs, joint sealant replacement, masonry-wall crack sealant, traffic-coating membrane installation, and replacement of chain-link fencing at existing barrier cables. The contractor must furnish labor, materials, equipment, services, permits, traffic control, temporary shoring, cleanup, and protection of occupants and property. The project requires a South Carolina General Contractor's License with a Concrete classification, at least five years of recent experience in comparable structural concrete repair, concrete waterproofing, and steel repair, and specified project references and personnel resumes. Work must be substantially completed within 60 days of the Notice to Proceed; the anticipated start date is October 12, 2026. A bid bond of at least 5% of the bid amount, capped at $25,000, is required, and performance and payment bonds of 100% of the contract value will be required from the awardee unless waived after award. The solicitation also requires specified insurance, including automobile liability, general liability, and workers' compensation coverage, and restricts subcontracting without the City's written consent.
