Description
The project includes cleaning supply- and return-air ducts for three air-conditioning units; remediating mold in designated ducts, grilles, branch runs, and drywall; repairing drywall and replacing ceiling tiles; replacing a mini-split condensate line; repairing attic ventilation; sealing and insulating ductwork; and balancing airflow. The bidder must provide a breakdown of labor and material costs for the specified mold-remediation work. The facility must remain operational during construction, and the contractor must coordinate with facility leadership. The bid must include an electronic bid form and bid guaranty. The project has a 5% EDGE participation goal, and prevailing-wage requirements apply when the project exceeds the stated threshold. Bidder qualifications information is encouraged with the bid and may be requested from the apparent low bidder. Several compliance documents, bonds, and background checks are required after award or before work begins, rather than with the bid.
