Description
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Engineering, is soliciting an MBE-certified, licensed, and professional contractor to convert a single restroom door, Room 105, at the Appalachian Hills Wildlife Area Visitor Center to ADA accessibility. The work includes installing an ADA paddle or push-plate switch, an automatic door operator, and all necessary door hardware. The contractor must perform daily cleanup because the visitor center will remain occupied. The solicitation package includes project specifications, automatic door operator specifications, conformed drawings, conformed project specifications, photographs, and a services agreement. Work is scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with additional hours coordinated with the Division of Engineering. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, and the project must be completed by November 30, 2026. The response requires a detailed quote and completed Affirmation Form through the OhioBuys solicitation process.
