Description
The project involves constructing a drilled pier wall with lagging at CR48-7.89 on New England Road, along with pavement repair and related miscellaneous construction. The unit-price bid schedule includes clearing and grubbing, guardrail work, earthwork, rock channel protection, erosion control, aggregate and asphalt work, steel soldier piles, porous backfill with geotextile fabric, perforated and non-perforated drainage pipe, drilled shafts, precast concrete panels, traffic maintenance, construction layout and surveying, and mobilization. The engineer's estimate is $155,000. The wall must be constructed and the road reopened with a stone surface by January 29, 2027, and the entire project must be completed by May 31, 2027. Bidders must submit experience on projects of similar size and complexity, a bid guaranty, required affidavits and bid documents, a subcontractors list, and certificates of insurance and workers' compensation coverage. The project is subject to Ohio prevailing-wage, domestic-steel, equal-employment-opportunity, and other public-construction requirements.
