Description
The City of Homestead Power System is procuring major long-lead equipment for the Donnie Avocado 138 kV/13.2 kV Distribution Substation. The scope is strictly for material supply, including engineering, fabrication, factory acceptance testing, packaging, and FOB-destination delivery; installation, civil foundations, field wiring, and final commissioning are excluded. Required equipment includes two 138 kV SF6 circuit switchers, two 138 kV motor-operated disconnect switches, one 138 kV manual disconnect switch, four 138 kV potential transformers, six 138 kV current transformers, one 13.8 kV 2,000-amp outdoor vacuum main breaker, and six 13.8 kV 1,200-amp outdoor vacuum feeder breakers. Equipment must meet detailed electrical, environmental, corrosion-resistance, hurricane-wind, SCADA, protection, testing, packaging, and delivery requirements. Bidders must provide pricing, delivery lead times, technical specifications, warranty information, qualifications, references, required forms, bid security, and supporting documentation for any equivalent products proposed.
