Chippewa County Health Department, in partnership with Chippewa-Luce-Mackinac Community Action Agency, is requesting proposals from qualified mechanical engineering firms to perform a comprehensive existing-conditions assessment of the heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems serving the first floor of Avery Square, including the health department. The assessment must determine the condition, performance, remaining useful life, and appropriate repair, rehabilitation, or replacement strategy for the existing HVAC equipment and controls. The resulting assessment will support project prioritization, capital-budget development, cost allocation, and development of a future scope of work for HVAC improvements.
