Description
Breitung Township School District is seeking a flooring contractor to remove and dispose of existing carpet and base molding in the kindergarten and first-grade pods at Woodland Elementary, including specified classrooms and pod commons. The work includes repairing concrete bases as needed and installing Kinetex Urban Avenue carpet tile, model 1560 Zone, with new four-inch gray base. The solicitation requires demolition beginning June 7, 2027, completion of demolition by June 25, 2027, installation beginning July 12, 2027, and completion by August 13, 2027. Contractors must be licensed and insured in Michigan, provide license and insurance documentation with the bid, obtain required permits, and ensure subcontractors are licensed and insured. A $1,000-per-day assessment applies for missing the stated demolition or installation deadlines. The bid package also includes required familial-disclosure and Iran Economic Sanctions Act certifications.
