Description
The State of Michigan is soliciting bids for various lighting repairs at Alger Correctional Facility. The work includes replacing selected existing light poles and concrete pole bases; furnishing and installing new poles, lighting fixtures, anchor bolts, conduits, wiring, and related hardware; salvaging and reinstalling designated existing lights and cameras; repainting poles that remain; and coordinating camera disconnection, remounting, aiming, and operational verification. The project also includes demolition, concrete and pavement restoration, turf and landscape restoration, utility locating using ground-penetrating radar, hydro-vacuum excavation, firestopping, testing, updated panel schedules, cleanup, and related electrical work. The mandatory pre-bid meeting and on-site walk-through is scheduled for October 27, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Bids must be uploaded through SIGMA VSS by November 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. A five-percent bid guarantee is required, and performance and payment bonds are required for bids over $50,000.
