Description
The project involves constructing one drinking water well at each of two sites, installing new watermains and connecting them to existing watermains, constructing new well buildings, and completing related site work. The work is described in plans and specifications prepared by Commonwealth Engineers, Inc. Bids must use the City's Contractor's Bid for Public Work Form and include an electronic copy of a bid bond or certified check for at least 5% of the base bid plus any alternates. The awarded bidder must later send the original check or bid bond. The contractor must also comply with the City's EEO Contracting Provision Diversity Utilization requirements for construction trades used on the contract and other covered construction work in the St. Joseph County area during performance.
