Description
The Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation seeks a fully managed, leased WAN service providing symmetrical bandwidth of 1 Gbps or similar between Madison Elementary School and the network head-end at Penn High School. The request is technology-neutral and allows fiber, hybrid, or non-fiber solutions. The selected provider must demarcate service in a designated network closet and provide guaranteed throughput, scalability, and performance meeting the RFP’s uptime, latency, and jitter requirements. Proposals must describe the network topology, transmission medium, pathways, handoffs, and provider-owned onsite equipment, and include a WAN diagram and a proposed SLA. The SLA must address availability, packet loss, latency, jitter, contention and oversubscription, 24/7/365 trouble reporting, repair commitments, chronic trouble, and service reporting. Responses must also include detailed pricing, service and construction timelines, three similar-service references, the provider’s E-Rate SPIN number, and a sample contract. The requested contract term is three years, with voluntary extensions possible; open-ended or automatically renewing terms are not acceptable.
