Description
The City University of New York's Office of Academic Affairs is soliciting proposals from full-time faculty, academic administrators, and staff for campus-led projects that use AI responsibly to support teaching, learning, research, and student success. Approximately $2 million is available, with a maximum award of $25,000 per submission; multiple submissions are allowed. Priority areas include AI education and literacy programs, AI-integrated course development, AI-enabled student and academic support, and projects addressing the ethical and social implications of AI. Allowable costs may include stipends, release time, part-time staff, student assistance, and licensed software. Capital equipment, general travel, and marketing are generally not allowable. Proposals must describe the project, activities, leads, priority areas, requested amount, budget, and timeline, and must address responsible AI use and completion by June 30, 2027.
