Description
The City of Rayne, Louisiana, has authorized the advertisement for bids for the "2026 - 2027 Water Tower Improvements" project. Plans and specifications for this project have been prepared and approved. Bids will be received at Rayne City Hall on a date and time to be determined in accordance with Louisiana Uniform Public Works Bid Laws. Additionally, the City of Rayne has adopted several ordinances. Ordinance No. 2059-2026 amends the code of ordinances to define "Feral Cat" and establish holding periods for impounded animals. Ordinance 2060-2026 establishes procedures for the disposition of adjudicated properties by public or private sale. Ordinance 2061-2026 redefines the geographical limits of the Historic District. Public hearings for Ordinances 2060-2026 and 2061-2026 are scheduled for July 13, 2026.
