Description
The City of Opelousas is seeking a contractor for 2.42 miles of citywide roadway improvements. The scope includes asphaltic concrete paving, asphaltic concrete patching, Portland cement concrete patching, soil cement stabilization, and all associated labor, materials, equipment, tools, and related work. Bidders must hold a Louisiana contractor's license classified for Highway, Street and Bridge Construction. The bid must include a certified check or bid bond equal to 5% of the bid, and the awarded contractor must pay a $300 electronic platform fee. The prime contractor and subcontractors must have active Unique Entity Identifier and SAM CAGE Code numbers before construction begins and throughout the contract term.
