Description
Middle Georgia State University seeks qualified general contractors for task order and design-build services involving repair, renovation, and maintenance of student housing facilities. Work may include residence hall units, bathrooms, common areas, interior finishes, doors and hardware, roofing and building envelopes, fire and life-safety systems, and mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and site infrastructure. Services may include preconstruction estimating, value engineering, design analysis, constructability reviews, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and construction management. Work will be assigned as needed through project-specific task orders; the maximum value of task order agreements, including change orders, is $2,000,000. The solicitation anticipates awarding at least three contracts, with a one-year term that may be extended by mutual agreement for up to four years. Performance and payment bonds are required at 100% for task orders of $100,000 or more, and may be required for smaller task orders at the university's discretion.
