Description
The City of Nicholasville seeks a construction manager for preconstruction and construction-phase services for a new approximately 9,675-square-foot fire station. The project includes the station building, a three-bay utility garage, site work, landscaping, utility connections, parking and drives, a backup generator, and demolition of existing site features. Preconstruction work includes estimating, constructability reviews, bid-package preparation, bidder solicitation, and bid evaluation. Construction-phase services include on-site project management and supervision, schedule and cost monitoring, coordination of trades, quality and safety oversight, payment and change-order review, closeout, and warranty-period assistance. Respondents must provide firm, personnel, project experience, project organization, service approach, references, and a summary statement in the requested order. Six copies are required. The fee and schedule will be negotiated after selection.
