Description
Janesville Transit seeks a contractor to clean two facilities: the Transit Services Center three days per week and the Transfer Center five days per week. Routine work includes cleaning floors, carpets, restrooms, locker rooms, showers, offices, public areas, and breakrooms; emptying waste and recycling; replenishing supplies provided by the agency; and maintaining cleanliness and sanitary conditions. The contractor must provide trained staff, supervision and backup personnel, cleaning equipment and supplies, and conduct at least three quality-control inspections annually. Staff must follow facility security and safety requirements, including wearing identification and safety vests when outside, locking exterior doors, and turning off lights when work is complete. The scope also includes optional, mutually agreed services such as additional routine cleanings, biohazard cleanup, detailed floor scrubbing, and carpet cleaning. Proposals must include a technical approach and work plan, qualifications and references, contract-management information, a price proposal using the provided form, and the required Appendix C forms. The contract is for three years, with two one-year options.
