Description
The West Virginia Community and Technical College System is soliciting a contractor for repairs at Mountwest Community and Technical College’s Headquarters Building Parking Lot A. The work includes clearing and excavation; reconstruction of an eroded slope; installation of a 24-inch HDPE storm drain, drop inlet, concreted rip-rap overflow channels, curb and gutter, and light-pole foundation; and restoration of disturbed asphalt and site features. The project also requires construction of a 120-foot H-pile retaining wall with drilled shafts, steel piles, concrete lagging, wale beams, dead-man anchor piles, tie-backs, concrete encasement, backfill, and associated traffic and erosion controls. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation, and required testing and documentation. Substantial completion is required within 180 consecutive calendar days after the notice to proceed, with final completion 30 calendar days thereafter. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is required, and bids must be submitted on the provided Form of Proposal with the required bid security and affidavits.
