Description
Stanislaus County seeks two qualified contractors to provide on-call standard and emergency plumbing and drain-clearing services at multiple County-owned facilities. The scope includes plumbing repairs and maintenance, sewer line repair and replacement, remodeling support, high-pressure water jetting, underground leak and line detection, video inspections, preventive maintenance planning, specialty equipment, and as-needed backflow testing and reporting. Emergency services require a verbal response within 20 minutes and an on-site physical response within one hour; standard service requests require a verbal response within one hour. The procurement is a prevailing-wage public works opportunity requiring a valid California C-36 plumbing contractor's license, Department of Industrial Relations registration, applicable licenses and permits, insurance, and compliance with County security-sensitive-facility screening requirements when applicable. Pricing is requested for Years 1 through 3, including standard and emergency hourly rates, journeyman and apprentice plumber rates, specialty equipment, and backflow-testing rates. The County anticipates a three-year contract with two possible one-year extensions.
