Description
The National Park Service is soliciting a licensed alarm company for annual inspection, testing, reporting, and limited repair services for fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, and backflow prevention devices at government-owned facilities in Grand Teton National Park and the John D. Rockefeller Jr. Memorial Parkway. The scope includes 21 alarm panels, two elevator emergency phones, sprinkler systems, standpipes, fire department connections, water-flow and supervisory switches, fire pumps, and domestic and fire-service backflow preventers. Work must comply with applicable NFPA standards and include deficiency documentation, repair recommendations, cost estimates, testing data, backflow certifications, and NFPA-compliant reports in PDF format. The base year includes annual testing and five-year internal inspections, along with specified 2026 repairs from the deficiency list. Option years include annual inspections and testing. Repairs require written Government approval before execution, and unscheduled maintenance is subject to annual labor and material allowances. The contract is a firm-fixed-price commercial services award with a base year and four option years; the base period is stated as September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2027, with option years extending through August 31, 2031. The contractor must provide qualified personnel, licenses and certifications, transportation, tools, equipment, materials, and an in-person review with facilities staff after testing.
