Description
DELCORA seeks a supplier to furnish and deliver 50% liquid caustic soda (sodium hydroxide) for water treatment. The estimated contract quantity is 40,000 gallons, with deliveries expected approximately every three to four weeks in full tanker loads of about 2,000–3,000 gallons, not exceeding 5,000 gallons per delivery. Orders must be delivered within two working days. The buyer pays for actual quantities delivered at the awarded per-gallon price; quantities are estimates and are not guaranteed. Bidders must submit a bid security equal to 10% of the total bid proposal and an Agreement of Surety with the bid, along with the required experience, equipment, and financial statement. The three apparent low bidders must provide required documents in original form and signatures within three business days after bid opening. The successful bidder must provide a 100% performance bond and required insurance; a 100% payment bond is required if subcontractors are used to perform work, purchase project goods, or lease project equipment. The contract period is January 1 through December 31, 2027.
