Description
The Town seeks bids for sodium bisulfite (38% solution) and sodium hypochlorite (12%-15% solution) for use at its wastewater treatment facility. Bidders may offer one or both chemicals, and the Town may make separate awards by chemical. Estimated annual usage is 6,000-10,000 gallons of sodium bisulfite and 10,000-18,000 gallons of sodium hypochlorite; these estimates are not guaranteed purchase quantities. Pricing is requested per gallon and must include delivery. The chemicals must be delivered within seven days after an order is received, with deliveries scheduled Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The initial contract period is January 10, 2027, through January 9, 2028, with possible annual extensions by mutual agreement. Bidders must submit a current safety data sheet for each offered chemical and any other information needed to complete the bid. The bid form must be submitted in duplicate.
