Description
The University of St. Thomas seeks an electrical contractor to provide ongoing service work for its Center for Microgrid Research. The scope includes microgrids, distributed energy resources (DERs), and AC/DC power systems up to 13.8 kV AC and 1,500 V DC. The university prefers a service contract, with work expected to begin as soon as reasonably possible after written notice and agreement by the parties; construction work will begin after task-order engineered drawings are received. Proposals will be evaluated on safety, personnel experience and qualifications, capacity and task-order management, responsiveness, hourly rates and fees, and references and past performance. A pre-proposal site visit is scheduled, and written questions are accepted before the proposal deadline.
