Description
Hennepin County seeks bids for rehabilitation of approximately 6.2 miles of CSAH 10 between CSAH 50 and CSAH 19. Work includes stabilized full-depth reclamation and bituminous resurfacing, roadway widening and turn-lane construction, reconstruction and profile corrections near CSAH 123, culvert replacement, grading, signing, and striping. The project includes two pavement-reclamation approaches: engineered-emulsion stabilization on one segment and cement stabilization on another. The proposal documents also specify staged embankment construction and settlement monitoring in an area with swamp deposits, traffic control, stormwater and erosion management, and applicable prevailing-wage and workforce requirements. Bids are submitted electronically through the county's ProcureWare site. The required bid package includes the proposal title sheet, electronic bid proposal form, non-collusion declaration, and responsible-contractor verification with the first-tier subcontractor list. A bid bond is required at 5% of the bid total when required, using an electronic bond service or an uploaded electronic copy of the original bond. The apparent low bidder may also be required to submit signed original documents after bid opening.
