Description
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Corrections, requires corrugated cartons for Correctional Industries (CI) at Huntingdon and all other SCI/CI locations. The contract will cover materials ordered as needed throughout its term. The solicitation is for a one-year contract with the option for four one-year renewals. All bids must be submitted electronically through the PA Supplier Portal, and vendors must be registered to participate. The Statement of Work details specific carton sizes, box test requirements, estimated annual quantities, and material specifications, including that all containers must be RSC kraft carton, single wall fibreboard 'C-Flute,' meeting Fibreboard Box Association standards. Delivery will be F.O.B. Destination, with the awarded supplier responsible for all shipping and delivery costs. A minimum order of $250 is required, and credit card payments up to $10,000 must be accepted. Contractors must also certify compliance with Pennsylvania labor and workforce safety laws and adhere to DOC delivery and security requirements.
