Description
The City of Yuba City is soliciting bids for the Tierra Buena Mobile Home Park Water Consolidation Project. This project, funded by the State Water Resource Control Board, involves consolidating the existing mobile home park water system with the City of Yuba City's water main. The scope of work includes constructing a new 2-inch water pipe to connect the park's system to the city's 12-inch water main, installing a master flow meter, and abandoning the existing groundwater well and two hydropneumatic tanks. The project has an engineer's estimate of $110,000 and a contract time of 30 working days. Bidders must possess a valid California Class A Contractor's License and be registered with the State of California Director of Industrial Relations (DIR). The project is subject to prevailing wage rates and apprenticeship requirements as stipulated by California Labor Code. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 17th, 2026, on-site. Proposals are due by 2:00 PM on June 26th, 2026, and must be submitted to the City Clerk's Office at City Hall, 1201 Civic Center Boulevard, Yuba City, California, 95993. Bids will be valid for forty-five calendar days after bid opening.
