Description
The City of Gresham is soliciting bids for replacement of aging water mains at three project locations. The work includes furnishing permits, materials, labor, tools, equipment, and construction services; installing primarily 8-inch Class 52 ductile iron water mains and related fittings; connecting water services; installing or replacing fire hydrant assemblies, valves, blowoffs, and other appurtenances; abandoning or removing existing waterline components; and flushing, disinfecting, pressure testing, and obtaining approval for the new facilities. The project also includes excavation, utility coordination, erosion and sediment control, trench and pavement restoration, and compliance with Oregon prevailing-wage requirements. The plans identify work on streets including NW 3rd Street, NW 4th Street, NW Overlook Court, SE Greenway Drive, SE 5th Street, and SE Lovrien Place. Bidders must submit the Offer and Schedule of Prices, Good Faith Efforts Certification, and First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form when applicable.
