Description
The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is soliciting bids for on-call snow plowing, scraping, snow removal, and hauling services for designated campus parking lots and properties. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, supplies, permits, insurance, and safety devices; complete routine plowing by specified morning deadlines; respond to designated lots within two hours of notification; and begin snow hauling within 24 hours, completing it within 48 hours. Snow hauling requires a truck of at least 20 cubic yards and access to a disposal site within 10 miles of campus. The scope also includes event-related snow response, possible emergency salting, snow pile removal, equipment maintenance, safety procedures, reporting, and a 24-hour emergency phone number. Bidders must submit an itemized bid sheet covering equipment, hourly rates, estimated service times, additional call-outs, hauling equipment, disposal-site information, and mileage to campus. The response must also include a technical proposal, service-level agreement information, preventive maintenance and replacement-equipment program, service-timeline compliance information, accident-response procedures, and required certifications and acknowledgments through the electronic sourcing module.
