Description
Tuolumne Utilities District is soliciting on-call trucking services on an as-needed basis for the Sierra Pines Regional Water Treatment Facility project. The anticipated project duration is approximately 18 months, with no guaranteed minimum quantity of work. The initial phase is expected to involve hauling approximately 4,000 cubic yards of material, followed by hauling base rock, asphalt, rip-rap, and other materials. The requested equipment includes four belly dump trucks, two end dump trucks capable of tarping loads to control flying debris and dust, and two transfer trucks with trailers. A chip trailer may be offered as an optional item. Bidders must provide hourly rates and round-trip travel time from their company yard to Sonora, California; rates must include fuel, labor, maintenance, and overhead. Services may be provided directly or through subcontracting, subject to District approval and applicable registration, licensing, prevailing-wage, federal Davis-Bacon, safety, insurance, and public-works requirements.
