Description
The City of Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures is issuing a Request for Proposal for the provision of bulk snow transport services during snow removal operations on its territory for the winter season 2026-2027. The contract will be established through a registry of compliant bidders, which will be approved by municipal council resolution and will be in effect for six months, from October 15, 2026, to April 15, 2027. The registry will include five distinct categories based on the type of truck provided. The total budget for the contract is $300,000 plus taxes, awarded to all compliant bidders according to the terms in the contract documents. However, the City does not guarantee any minimum order quantity, and bidders cannot claim damages if the actual quantities are less than the budget or if no services are required. The solicitation is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and the Quebec-Ontario Trade and Cooperation Agreement (ACCQO). Only bidders with an establishment in Quebec or in territories covered by applicable trade liberalization agreements will be considered. The City reserves the right not to accept the lowest bid or any bid.
