Description
The City of Amesbury Department of Public Works is soliciting sealed bids for complete streets improvements along Market Street (Route 150) and South Hampton Road. The work includes realignment of South Hampton Road; approximately 300 feet of sidewalk; pedestrian curb ramps; vertical granite curbing; full-depth pavement; MUTCD-compliant pavement markings and signage; and other incidental construction work. The project has an estimated value of $279,985.00 and requires MassDOT prequalification in the Highway--Sidewalk and Curbing class of work. Prevailing wage requirements apply. Bidders must submit a properly completed noncollusion and related affidavit, provide a proposal guaranty equal to 5% of the bid value in an accepted form, and submit one original sealed bid; faxed or emailed proposals will not be accepted. Construction is expected to begin in spring 2027 and finish in summer 2027.
