Description
The Calgary Board of Education is establishing a standing offer list of suppliers for plumbing products and materials to support preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and capital projects at its facilities. The scope includes plumbing fixtures, piping and gas-piping materials, fittings, repair components, specialty and manufacturer-specific parts, and other plumbing supplies. Products must be new, suitable for high-use school and public environments, compatible with existing systems, and compliant with applicable codes and standards; potable-water products must be lead-free certified. Equivalent products may be considered with supporting specifications and product literature, and substitutions require prior written approval. Respondents must provide product-quality and compliance information, demonstrate inventory and delivery capacity (including urgent and after-hours support), describe technical support and sustainability practices, and submit three similar-scope client references. The submission also requires a completed corporate profile and pricing proposal, a valid insurance certificate or evidence of ability to obtain the required coverage, a signed conflict-of-interest disclosure, the signed signature form, and any applicable signed addenda. The standing offer term is three years, with up to two one-year extensions; it does not guarantee any minimum purchase volume or work assignments.
