Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting firm-fixed-price repair of receiver units to the specified operational and functional requirements. The contractor must be an authorized repair source and provide a repair price that covers the work needed even if units arrive incomplete, damaged, or missing parts. The requested repair turnaround time is 81 days after receipt, and the quote must state the repair and total prices, turnaround time, new-unit price, throughput capacity, and other specified pricing and facility details. Test-and-evaluation-only quotes are not acceptable. The solicitation also requests an option for up to four additional units, exercisable within 365 days of award. Repair work must follow applicable repair standards and include inspection and testing, required item marking, packaging, and reporting. Quotes are evaluated using a lowest-price technically acceptable process; only authorized distributors of the original manufacturer's item are eligible for award consideration, and proof of authorization must accompany the offer.
