Description
The City of Gastonia Engineering Department is soliciting sealed bids from licensed North Carolina contractors for the 2026/2027 Annual Resurfacing project. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, and bidders must demonstrate the experience, ability, capital, facilities, and equipment necessary to complete the work within the time specified in the contract documents. A bid security deposit or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the proposal is required. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond for the full contract amount and satisfy the contract's insurance requirements; the bid must also include a letter from the bidder's insurance representative confirming that the required policies can be issued.
