Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information on vendors capable of providing repair and replacement services for steam condensate vacuum return lines at the American Lake VA Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. The project involves replacing deteriorated lines that support steam supply for heating and hot water in multiple buildings. Specific tasks include utility locates, providing fencing and signage, asphalt and concrete cutting and removal, excavation, removal of concrete utility lids, and the supply and installation of new condensate vacuum return lines. The contractor will also be responsible for reinstalling utility lids, replacing any broken lids, backfilling, compacting, and preparing the excavation site for asphalt, as well as replacing removed asphalt, curbing, and restriping parking lot lines. The period of performance is 120 days after Notice to Proceed.
