Description
The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Office of Special Reclamation (WVDEP-OSR) is soliciting bids for an open-end contract to supply, transport, and deliver caustic soda (sodium hydroxide) in 20%, 25%, and 50% concentrations to various reclamation job sites in Preston, Marion, Monongalia, Grant, Mineral, Upshur, Barbour, Gilmer, Tucker, Harrison, Lewis, and Randolph counties. The contract covers two regions: Region One (Monongalia, Preston, Tucker, Grant, Randolph, and Mineral counties) and Region Two (Harrison, Gilmer, Lewis, Marion, Barbour, Upshur, Taylor, Randolph, and Lewis counties). Deliveries require tri-axle trucks, metered loading, and the ability to split loads between multiple locations. The contract is estimated to cover 300,000 lbs of 20% caustic soda in Region 1, 90,000 lbs in Region 2, 25,000 lbs of 25% in each region, and 4,000 lbs of 50% in each region.
