Description
The contractor will provide labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to convert an office at Leonhard Recreation Center. Work includes installing interior aluminum-framed glass walls and doors to match an existing entrance, fitting both new doors with security card readers, and installing CAT-6 data lines to support owner-furnished security cameras. The scope also includes electrical modifications, removal and capping of existing infrastructure, salvaging an ice machine for relocation, and leaving affected walls ready for painting by the District. Bidders must submit a lump-sum price, a qualifications portfolio, and three comparable-project references with contact information. The lowest-priced responsible bidder will be considered. A 10% bid security is required; performance and labor/material payment bonds are required before work if the contract exceeds $50,000. The project is intended to start after award and reach substantial completion by March 5, 2027. The contractor must obtain prior written approval before subcontracting or assigning work.
