Description
The City of Urbana Department of Public Works is seeking a qualified contractor to provide snow plowing services for designated City-owned parking lots from November 21, 2026, through April 30, 2027. Upon authorization, the contractor must plow all designated lots from start to finish, generally beginning no earlier than 7:00 p.m. and completing the work by 7:00 a.m. the following day. The scope excludes hauling excess snow and salting or other treatment applications; snow must be deposited only in locations identified on the lot maps. Pricing is based on authorized plowing events for snow accumulations of five inches or less and greater than five inches. Unit prices must include labor, equipment, materials, and overhead. The solicitation requires electronic portal responses, vendor confirmations, a W-9, applicable conditional documentation, and compliance with specified insurance and performance-bond requirements.
