Description
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for an Enhanced-Use Lease development opportunity at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center. The selected developer would finance, investigate, design, construct, operate, and maintain a parking structure with at least 900 spaces on an approximately 1.6-acre, 72,000-square-foot parcel currently containing an unused research trailer and inactive basketball court. The developer would also be responsible for removing and disposing of those existing assets and connecting the development to existing campus infrastructure. The parking structure is expected to provide free parking for Veterans, patients, and their families during standard weekday business hours. Responses must demonstrate comparable parking-structure development and operations experience, financial capacity, and experience securing public and private real-estate financing. Respondents must submit a letterhead response addressing business information, corporate qualifications, development, property-management and financing experience, and the Government's questionnaire; responses are limited to 15 single-spaced pages using at least 12-point font. This is a Sources Sought notice for market research and is not a solicitation for offers or a request for proposals.
