Description
The City of Redmond is requesting Statements of Qualifications from experienced architectural or engineering firms to provide on-call services supporting its Bridge Repair Program. The program addresses deficiencies identified through routine biannual and special bridge inspections, prioritizing repairs that preserve structural integrity, extend service life, and maintain safe travel for all users. The selected consultants may provide bridge preservation design; plans, specifications, and cost estimates; structural analysis; bridge inspections; load ratings; scour and seismic evaluations; construction management and inspection; project scoping and prioritization; grant assistance; and related structural services for retaining walls and other City projects. The City intends to select up to three consultants for task-order work under an initial two-year agreement with three optional two-year renewals, for a potential maximum term of eight years. The initial maximum contract value is $1,000,000, with no guaranteed minimum work or expenditure. Statements of Qualifications are limited to 10 pages, excluding specified supplemental components, and must address firm experience, public-agency references, key personnel, sample work, SBE participation, business-license commitment, and proposal validity.
