The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting bids for maintenance dredging of the Calcasieu River and Pass, Louisiana, covering the stretch from mile 5.0 to mile 17.0 within Calcasieu and Cameron Parishes. The project involves the removal of material from the Calcasieu River Ship Channel and its disposal in designated Confined Disposal Facilities adjacent to the river and pass. Optional work includes removal of material from Devil's Elbow, construction of retention dikes, surveys, and optional ditching and draining of disposal areas.
